MISSION TEAM MEETING  March 31, 2009                                           7:07 p.m.

Shirley McClenahen called the meeting to order as interim President

We accepted Rose White’s resignation as President as of March 24, 2009

We accepted Shirley McClenahen as our interim President

Devotions – Sherrie Hickman – encouragement

Minutes read by the women and approved

Correspondence read: Thank you from Healthaccess for gift received

Information on Shower/Luncheon for River House. Information will be put on the bulletin

   board

Treasurer’s report -- $1,303.60

Connie mad the motion that we give $150 for Relay for Life, seconded by Sherrie

   Hickman, all in favor

April 8 General meeting was discussed. We will announce the Special event at each

   service and also call those who are brought to our mind. Soup and sandwiches will

   be provided by Patti DeMatio and Mary Chrysler. Film by Louis Giglio, 1 ½ hour. This

   will be our program for the evening.

April 18 – Daughter Dinner, 6:00 p.m. Rose and Jackie will do the decorations – we will

   ask Doug Hughey to do the program – Emily will buy the prizes – tickets will be on

   sale at each service for the next two Sundays. Emily and Shirley the first Sunday,

   Patti the next Sunday at 8:30 –will find someone for the 11:00 service

May 3 Senior Breakfast – Shirley will check with Liz Steinhurst to see if things are

   progressing – new revised copy for Senior Breakfast was read and presented by

   Shirley.

May 4-8 – Spring Rumage Sale – we will have a meeting April 21, 7 p.m.

May 13 General Meeting – Potluck with Churchill and Rose City UMW – will see if the Humane Society

  would be available for program

Discussed Fall Rummage Sale – Change date – Oct. 4-9

Fall Spiritual Retreat was discussed – will ask Pat Arvilla if Oct 30-31 is available for

   her to come. This was the only date that would work to use Woodlands for the Retreat

   –cost $100 for 10 people and $11 each additional

Breakfast for Sunday School teachers was discussed – possible June 7
